Very tight. 'M' was perhaps a little optimistic of me, but it does fulfill the compression promise, which was not what I was interested in. The workmanship is acceptable. There are also soft rubber gel lines on the inside of the waistband for additional support. Probably comfortable in the right size. Average quality, low-end sewing and little finish, shorts too short at the bottom and not long enough to avoid friction of the skin between the two thighs.
