Fits Aust. Size 20 easily with room to expand. Made well but is not the product I thought I ordered. They are basically like high waisted swim suit bottoms. There is a cotton insert that goes from half way up the front to all the way up the back. I imagine they are waterproof because the cotton gusset seems to have a very thin plastic backing, which you can not see, but it sounds like crumpling plastic. Tag states they are made of 90% Nylon & 10% spandex, with a 100% cotton lining. I’ve never heard cotton make that noise. No mention of the insert or what it’s made of. They are very unlike period panties here in Australia, they do not have the thickness nor the feel.

So in combination with a pad or tampon, cup, etc., the panties work quite well as leakage protection. You shouldn't wear it without it during your period. Also not if it bothers you that you rustle when walking, because unfortunately the panties constantly make noises when you move. The fit and wearing comfort are very comfortable and light.
