Mycelium of Button Mushrooms Mushroom Growing Kit

Grow your own mushrooms Sterilized tube containing 15 ml or 50 ml of button mushroom mycelium. Growing button mushrooms is the easiest to do, it is within the reach of any mushroom lover. The mycelium contained in this laboratory tube must be diluted in sugar water before being spread on a substrate. Before spreading your mycelium, prepare your sugar water mixture: Bottled mineral water is ideal, it has less chlorine and has the advantage of being packaged in a sanitized environment.. Empty about 10% of the water in the water bottle so you can add syrup (apple or lemon syrup based on glucose and above all without preservatives, approximately 10% of the volume of water). Then add the mycelium contained in the tube at a rate of 10ml per liter of sugar water mixture. i.e. 15ml for a 1.5 liter bottle and 50ml for a 5 liter bottle. Your mixture must then remain protected from light in a room at 20° minimum for at least 4 to 5 days for the mycelium to develop.. So you can multiply the mycelium in large quantities, it can be stored in a cool place and protected from light for several months.. Then inoculate your substrate with your mycelium mixture (horse manure, coffee grounds, straw, wood shavings, compost...) placed in a room between 14° and 20° ideally protected from light. Keep moist. The first mushrooms will appear 3 or 4 weeks after the start of cultivation. Harvest them one by one around ten days later, as they develop.. If the growing conditions are good, you can get up to 4 successive flights. This harvest can last several weeks. The tube is vacuum packed and delivered with instructions for use.
